I have compiled the following list of jazz charts over the past 35 years as a recommendation resource for secondary school band directors. The charts included in this selection guide are those that I have found favor with through personal activity and experience as an adjudicator, rehearsal clinician, honor band director, player, and jazz educator participant at conference reading sessions. These “screened” charts have elements of merit that I believe are worthy of your pursuit musically and conducive to the educational process of developing young musicians.
